So Very Lucky
Hello! I made a layout for the Life. Paper. Scrapbook March Mood Board. I decided to pull inspiration from the mood board instead of trying to match the colors perfectly. I went with the lucky title and the four leaf clovers reminded me of hearts. I used a fun sketch from Creative Scrappers. Since it was a kind-of grid like sketch, I used WR Memory Keepers Dreamy Journaling cards. I was never able to fully get into PL so they work on LO's too. I am also linking up at Paper Issues. Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Get Sketchy: Sketch A Thon Hop #2
Hello! I made a quick 'quirky' LO for the Let's Get Sketchy Hop. This is Lynn's challenge to use watercolor. I am such a CAS scrapper I haven't been able to wrap my mind around mixed media applications. And believe me, I have played around quite a bit. I have all the stuff but my work never looks quite right to me. So I had this idea of a watercolor frame with my watercolor crayons. A little elementary:). Kinda matches the silly picture though. I also used watercolor on the title and splattered some green watercolor with a brush. I'll keep trying since I bought all the stuff...Thanks for coming by!

Let's Get Sketchy: Sketch A Thon Blog Hop
Hi! I was able to get at least one layout done for the Let's Get Sketchy: Sketch A Thon Blog Hop! And now I am able to link it..hehe. I had it in my head it ended Saturday night but when I went to link it was closed:(. Now I see it open again. I knew I would only get the one so I picked Brenshevia's. I liked the sketch & color challenge plus she's kinda the b-day girl as the owner! You had to use the sketch with 4 of 5 colors. I chose the light pink, dark pink, blue, & black. When I first started scrapping I never used pink or 'girly' colors for boy layouts but now I just do what I want...otherwise I would always use 'boy' colors. So it is a very pink layout with a boy & a rino:). Thanks for stopping by!!

My Scraps & More Sketch #70
Hi! I made a layout with My Scraps & More sketch #70. I used mostly Elle's Studio Everyday Moments and incorporated a couple of other challenges in my design. Frosted Design has a Punctuation challenge going on right now so I used the ES wood veneer ampersand in my title. It's a great challenge to show some creativity. So many things you can do but the ampersand worked perfectly...really, who doesn't like a good ampersand!? And I am also linking up at Southern Girls Challenge. Their challenge is to use pennants or banners. I used a journal card that already had some pennants and used my x-acto to cut them out so they wouldn't be flat and added some more on top. Thanks for stopping by!

Scrap Our Stash March Guest Designer
Hello! Today I am sharing my LO for my GDT spot at Scrap Our Stash. It's going to be a fun packed month over there because it is their 1st Birthday!! They will be celebrating with a Stash-A-Thon March 1st - March 31st. Lots of challenges, weekly prizes, and 2 bonus prizes! Make sure to head over, wish them a Happy Birthday & enjoy some really fun challenges and inspiration.
I wanted my layout to have balloons because that kind of represents b-day/celebration to me. I have had a sketch from Page Drafts in the back of my mind since it was released for Christmas but I haven't had the
opportunity to use it yet. It immediately popped in my head because of the large photo circle at the top. I turned it into a big balloon. I love Emma Stafrace's style and her sketches! Well designed & very graphic.
The photos are of my little cousins 2nd b-day. I used mostly AC Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 paper. Thanks for stopping by!
