Hello! I made a layout for a sketch challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap. They have two sketch challenges and two card challenges per month. I just found them very recently and was inspired to make a layout for their September 15 Challenge. It ended up being EXTREMELY simple but I like how it turned out. Sometimes simple is ok. I used Glitz Designs Dapper Dan.
Happy Friday! I made a layout for the Sketch Blog at My Scrap & More using another great sketch by Audrey Yeager. I love Fancy Pants and have been getting a lot of use out of Memories Captured. And that is what the LO is all about. My son was taking pictures of me with his little digital and I was taking pictures of him. But none of his turned out very clear:).
Hi! I found a great sketch challenge blog Stuck?! Sketches. I love sketch challenges because not only do they give me inspiration but challenges also give me deadlines and that makes a page go faster for me. Otherwise I get caught up in other things and don't scrapbook at all. Basically that is how my scrapbook mojo is working for me lately. I did a layout for the September 15th Sketch Challenge. Sorry for the really horrible photos. It's been raining here and I am really should look up layout photo taking tips soon!
Hello! Today I am posting a layout I created using the latest sketch from Creative Scrappers. They had a little hiatus for a few months but I am happy that it's going again. I used to make layouts from Kristine's sketches all the time but never linked up (wasn't sharing my LO's then) and so this is the first time I have submitted a layout.
I love this sketch and immediately knew I would use the gears and circles from the Echo Park All about a Boy collection. It was a great way to use those because I would most likely never have found a good use for all of them. I added a couple of other things but for the most part the star and circle shape theme remained the same. TFL!!
Hello there! I made a layout for the Scrap and Music sketch challenge blog. It's a fun challenge of using the lyrics or even just a word from the lyrics from a song in your layout. The song for sketch #10 was Green Day's Time of Your Life. I ended up using TIME in my title (always smile all the time). It's in the song quite a lot.
Scrap and Music sketch #10
I used mostly Glitz Designs Dapper Dan collection. TFL!
I used the Glitz Designs Dapper Dan collection and some Basic Grey Hey You pieces. I started out thinking I would stick pretty close to the sketch because I really like it but this is what I ended up with. I will probably use the sketch again at some point and stay closer to the design. TFL!
Hi! I made a layout for the Frosted Design Fabulous Friday Challenge. The challenge was to use numbers in your layout. I made a list. I used mostly Echo Park Happy Go Lucky Freedom Photo collection. I have already used some of it for PL and I like the colors so I used some for this layout.
I used Amy Tangerine Yes, Please papers and fussy cut the camera, flower, and journaling. I cut the heart from vellum and outlined it in white pen to make it pop out a bit. I used some dimensional magic on the pink circle heart to kind of mimic flair. And I also used a stencil and modeling paste. TFL!
Hi! I decided to start a blog so I can join in the scrapbooking 'online' world. I have been stalking it for a couple of years but I want to be able to enter challenges and basically just share in the crafty fun with the rest of the ladies and you need a blog to do that...so here I go.
I used Studio Calico Darling Dear papers, SC frames, arrow washi tape, and some enamel dots here and there. Pretty clean, simple page.
I recently went to Tuesday Morning on the suggestion of a forum post on Two Peas In A Bucket. I had never been there and didn't know they had scrapbook goodies. I am always for goodies on the cheap! I am a somewhat poor scrapper. I can't justify spending hundreds of dollars every month (which is very easy to do:-). This is a very expensive hobby if you want the brand name items!
So anyways, I was able to get a Studio Calico 6x6 Darling Dear paper pad and a Amy Tangerine 12x12 Yes, Please paper pad. They did not have much (probably already pretty much cleaned out) but I did score those two.
My pictures are not turning out so great (it's been very cloudy outside) and I need to figure that out. You never really realize how horrible your lighting inside is until you start taking pictures of layouts:)! TFL!
